Linus went to seek help while the rest of us waited.

thanks to a helpful car rental vendor, we were all saved...

maybe we should rent cars from him for our next outing?

Fastforward's 1st publicity booth!!!

ok here's the field report.

went to SAO at 9am with a fren of mine to collect the keys for thetables and chairs.about 930am, booth was up and running with the help of my fren, i want to take this chance to thank him, even tho' he wun see this msg, ha.handed out a few flyers. response not bad, most of the people took thepaper and bothered to give it a read. din see anyone crush the paperand throw it away, except one. :)response on signing up was ok, about half were my frens, lol, so supportive of them. interested ones came and ask a few questions likemembership fees, when and where is the gathering, how does the clubrun, etc. But most questions asked was, "are you guys selling thegames?" >.<

hi-bye frens also came and said hello and played a short simple gameof Loco! most of them were so concerned y was i the only personrunning the show. almost all the pple i know ask this question. thinkneed to tape-record down my answer liao.at 1:15pm, moved the booth from under LT1 to canteen A cos the CACorganiser said some vendors did not manage to turn up, so we canoccupy the booth. not bad, the booth already had table cloth and sideskirt. and also they helped us moved the tables and chairs back to theroom. kudos to them.

at bout 2pm, the late arrival of miss chloe and gang. had our lunchand played some games. attracted a few bystanders. one stranger cameand told us he had some time to spare and we invited him to a game of Carcassonne. he asked us whether we seen him before. then he told us he was featured in aPitstop article. Hah.game ended with noob chloe winning(beginner's luck lah) at bout 4:30pm. she got class to attend and i'm pretty tired so decided toclose shop. also since there is not much traffic le.

all in all was a good day for me except for the fact that the boothwas lack of manpower. wanted to photostat the survey one but forgot.wanted to take more peektures one, also forgot. haiz... only can say sorry to u all and hope the next booth will be more prepared.peektures can be viewed in the Photos section.
